Your program fee includes liability insurance with limited coverage, which only covers accidents that may occur during your mission. For missions in Europe, you have to ask for and leave with the European Social Security card. It is mandatory to take out comprehensive health and repatriation insurance in your country of origin for missions outside Europe.
You do not pay to participate in a mission, but for the general organization of your project. Your program costs also include local logistics. For example: clean and secure accommodation, meals, airport transfers, supervision by professional guides, coordinators or experienced instructors and 24/7 assistance.

For animal and environmental projects, you are not required to speak the local language. All our programs are entirely in English, the local teaching staff speaks English. But we still encourage our attendees to familiarize themselves with some of the more basic terms and expressions, like even just a simple “Hello!” in the local language can be a great icebreaker for interacting with locals!
For social projects in Latin America, an intermediate level of Spanish will be required to ensure the smooth running of the projects.
Note: most organizations are affiliated with local language schools if an upgrade is needed before the start of the project. Language lessons can be booked before or on arrival. The lessons are given by a professional teacher and adapted to the current linguistic level of each one.
The currency used in Croatia is the Kuna. One euro equals 7.535 HRK.
In general, a bus or metro ticket in Croatia costs 1.33€
As for restaurants, prices vary between 7 and 21€ for a dish.
The price of a cheap private room generally amounts to the equivalent of 42€ per night or 300 kn.
