Porto is the second largest city in Portugal. Porto’s historic center has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but it’s the hospitality and welcoming nature of the locals that make this northern city so charming.
If you ask yourself the question: “Why take a gap year between license and master “, we have a solution. You will work side-by-side with organization staff as well as local youth. You’ll participate in hippotherapy classes, lend a hand in the vegetable garden, patrol the forest on horseback to prevent fires, supervise children in their educational summer camps, reforest wild areas, collect seeds, and even take care of a small herd of goats and sheep.
Like all of our animal programs . If you love horses, this project is for you! During the majority of activities, horses will be your companions for environmental protection and social inclusion activities. Your travels will be mainly on horseback in order to be able to help maintain the 3-hectare wild area, as well as support the equestrian center. It is also the best opportunity to learn to ride a horse. The school is ready to welcome beginners and give them weekly lessons at a preferential rate.
