In summary, the program includes 6 months of alternating coursework and paid job experience, followed by a guaranteed employment opportunity for 6 months in either Toronto or Vancouver.   • Service Excellence for Business (26, 40, and 48 weeks): Covers topics such as event management, tourism, commerce, HR, and customer relations in the Canadian market. Students learn how to create positive customer experiences in all sectors.
  • Communication & Service Essentials (30 and 60 weeks): Through business English courses and professional lectures, students learn to master communication tools in an international context and become part of a strong communication team.
  • Sales & Marketing (52, 54, and 92 weeks): This program covers consumer behavior, project management, and digital marketing. Students develop skills to work in a multicultural environment in sales, marketing, and social media. They learn to play a key role in a sales team or marketing service.
  • Business & Administration (52 and 92 weeks): Students examine the roles and responsibilities of managers in a corporate environment. The program covers all aspects of business management, including organization, analysis, HR, and management courses.

What are the requirements to study and work in Canada?

To study and work in Canada, you need a study permit visa. The good news is that obtaining a study permit visa is much simpler compared to a working holiday visa (PVT).

Generally, you need to be enrolled or accepted at a designated educational institution in Canada, provide proof of financial capacity, be in good health, and meet Canadian immigration requirements.

Regarding English proficiency, a sufficiently high level is required for understanding courses, training, and effective communication with others. An English test will be conducted to assess your level and ability to integrate into the program.

By participating in the Study and Work program in Canada, you are generally allowed to work up to 20 hours per week during the study periods. After completing your studies, you may be eligible for full-time employment, approximately 35 hours per week.

What type of job can I get?

How much money can I earn with my job?

Once on-site, the average salary is around CAD15 per hour, and students can earn an average of €10,000 to €12,000 per year, which easily covers the expenses for the rest of the year.

Where will I stay once in Canada? Is food included?

The on-site school offers various types of accommodation to students:

Homestay (45-55 minutes from the school): Students have a comfortable private room (or shared twin beds) with a shared bathroom. They are provided with full board (3 meals a day) with a maximum of 2 students per host family.

Student residence (located in the city center): Individual rooms with shared bathrooms. Several options are available depending on the program and the chosen city.

A half-board option is included in the homestay accommodation. For students who choose to do their gap year in Canada in a student residence, they will have access to kitchens to prepare their meals.
