WHAT MISSIONS WERE ENTRUSTED TO US ON SITE?

During my internship I was able to carry out various tasks such as :

• Recording species on the reserve during game drives
• Install new trap cameras in the reserve
• Processing photos taken by trap cameras
• Carry out work to maintain the reserve (cutting branches, maintaining trails, etc.).

WHAT THIS INTERNSHIP HAS GIVEN ME

On a personal level, this internship enabled me to discover the bush environment and realize one of my dreams: to see the Big 5. It was also an opportunity for me to meet interns from all over the world, to live in the bush, and to make new acquaintances, enabling me to improve my English.

From a professional and academic point of view: this internship is a real asset for my CV, as it gave me a lot of knowledge about ecology, the behavior of different species and the management of a reserve.

DO I RECOMMEND THIS PROJECT?

I would 100% recommend this project to anyone looking to experience life in the bush.
In my opinion, this project is the best way to discover the bush, especially through safaris. We're totally immersed and learn a lot from the rangers, who are all super passionate!
