During my gap year in a nature reserve in Argentina, I was able to learn a new language, a new way of living and seeing things. As a human being, it changed me enormously, helping me to get to know myself better and to learn how I behave away from my family. Since this experience I feel much better, I have more self-confidence and I'd like to say that I'm a different man now.
One of my best memories was when I became autonomous in the reserve. From then on, I interacted a lot more with the animals, and it was just magical to be with them and have the opportunity to bond.
On a scale of 5, I think I can give a score of 5 for everything to do with pre-departure information, the registration process, project supervision/coordination, and catering and accommodation.
However, I would have liked to have had more time to travel around the country, so I'll give the volunteers' schedule a score of 3.
I recommend this project, as it enabled me to be in contact with nature, to get to know it better and therefore to take care of it properly. The project encourages open-mindedness, because the project environment and the project itself are really different from what you can experience in France.
I also recommend "RealStep" for international projects, as the team is always available and communicating via WhatsApp makes the exchange more fluid.
Quite honestly, the project is fantastic! What's more, there's a huge number of projects.
