During my stay, my assignments were varied. Initially, I explored all the projects underway within the NGO and supervised groups of students and families in worldschooling. At the same time, I researched the ways to contribute to the coral project. Later in my internship, I focused on contributing to the development of protocols and continuing to be actively involved in the field, notably through diving and environmental monitoring.
This internship has given me a lot on a personal level. Living in a new country, discovering such a different culture, and overcoming the language barrier were all new experiences for me. The human contact was what enriched me the most in this project. On a professional level, I was impressed by the management aspects and the importance of listening to one's environment.
Absolutely! I recommend this project 100%. Not only does it offer exciting opportunities within local communities, but the team on site is also endowed with exceptional human qualities. Their commitment to their missions has greatly inspired me and helped me gain confidence. This mission represents a real and meaningful reconnection with one's environment and surroundings.
I also recommend RealStep for the organization of my stay in Thailand. They facilitated the process and met my expectations in terms of experience. Their team advised me efficiently and made my project a reality.
