CES: European Solidarity Corps
Posted on 20 January 2023

With the European Commission's European Solidarity Corps, you can leave on a free humanitarian mission of between 6 months and 1 year!

What is CES?

The CES is part of the Erasmus + program, which enables young people, not necessarily students, aged between 18 and 30 to spend between 6 months and 1 year abroad. All costs are covered by the European Commission (preparation, transport, accommodation, pocket money, food, insurance, language courses, etc.): it's one of the ideal solutions for a free humanitarian trip!

There are no diploma, training or language requirements to take part in a free humanitarian mission as part of this program. These projects are an excellent opportunity to make yourself useful, acquire new skills, spend time abroad, learn a language and return with unforgettable memories.

The diversity of the fields covered (environment, health, inclusion, digital technologies, culture or sport) is sure to enable you to find an activity that matches your interests and your career path.

You can choose between an individual project or a group of between 10 and 40 people.

Mission criteria :

  • It can last from 2 to 12 months
  • It must be full-time (between 30 and 38 hours a week).
  • It must enable you to participate in the day-to-day work of an organization that benefits the local community.
  • It must be "cross-border" = in a country other than the one in which you live.
