Impact Report: Kekoldi, Costa Rica

Milestones reached with Costa Rica programs

• We conducted over 800 endangered species surveys, keeping track of our rainforest’s vital ecosystems and habitats.
• Our team trained participants in identifying the 17 species of migratory birds of prey in the local area.
• Participants and staff removed over 600 kg of recyclables from Cahuita’s town through a fantastic recycling drive over the summer.
• Completed more than 750 biodiversity surveys to monitor the incredible variety of species thriving in our local Kekoldi region.
• Counted over 370,000 migratory raptors flying over Kekoldi during spring hawk watch.

Impact Report: Puerto Mores, Mexico

Milestones reached with Mexico programs

• Completed more than 20 impactful site clean-ups to protect our coastal shores.
• Our team conducted over 30 biodiversity surveys, safeguarding the health of our precious turtles and coral reefs.
• We delivered more than 25 environmental workshops to improve local knowledge and understanding of our vital ecosystems.

Impact Report: Limpopo, South Africa

Milestones reached in South Africa

• Our team and network of incredible change-makers raised over $1700 with a fabulous end-of-year fundraiser to provide resources and equipment towards our anti-poaching initiatives on the Kruger reserve.
• We conducted 973 endangered species surveys, monitoring vital wildlife such as lions, rhinos and giraffes.
• Carried out 78 biodiversity surveys, playing a vital role in protecting vulnerable species.
