Are you looking for new professional opportunities, a career change or simply new skills?
Realstep diploma courses are designed to help you make a fresh start, but this time with meaning.
Realstep training courses are unique in that they are the only ones to combine the acquisition of skills with a positive impact. Working on a humanitarian project is unusual, but doing so surrounded by experts and professionals in an international context becomes a real asset on the increasingly competitive job market.
Opting for field training abroad is a strategic choice for your career path. On most projects, the skills acquired are transversal (soft skills). As a result, they are applicable to all sectors, and everyone will find the tools they need to achieve their goals. Whether you want to become a nature guide in 1 year, a surf instructor in 3 months or a project coordinator in 6 months, it's all possible!
Our training courses are designed to be practical and immediately applicable in a professional context. Participants are immediately integrated into a professional team and participate in field actions. For example, training to become a project coordinator involves rotating through all the positions to learn how to manage a project from A to Z: drawing up schedules, managing stocks, supervising teams, organizing shipments... you take part in all the actions of the project, supervised by the trainers.
We make it a point of honor to offer a human and personalized approach, with experienced and passionate trainers who are with you every step of the way: training, guidance, follow-up, evaluation at every stage.
Realstep training courses are recognized by international institutions, some of the diplomas being state diplomas (surf instructor, divemaster, nature guide...) others being issued by leading universities based in the UK or the USA. This recognition is a guarantee of credibility and excellence, assuring you that your investment of time and effort will be rewarded by a recognized certification.
At the age of 37, Sébastien made a bold decision that dramatically transformed his life. After spending 12 years in ready-to-wear management, he decided to follow his true passion: the animal world. In 2019, he began an online nature animator training course to become an animal caretaker, with a particular focus on wildlife. However, he quickly realized that theory wasn't enough and that he needed practical experience.
Seeking to gain this valuable experience, Sébastien embarked on a month-long internship at an animal sanctuary in Namibia. There, he looked after lions, meerkats, baboons and cheetahs. Although the pandemic temporarily slowed his plans, Sébastien resumed his trip in 2022. He once again collaborated with Freepackers, this time in South Africa, where he decided to devote himself fully to wildlife protection.
Sébastien's desire to play a more active role in nature conservation led him to return to South Africa six months later. He began training to become a ranger, a profession that involves direct participation in the protection of ecosystems. The ranger's role is not limited to simple surveillance; it includes a deep understanding and respect for each natural actor, as well as a commitment to their preservation and to passing on this knowledge to others.
Thanks to Freepackers, Sébastien has been able to live his childhood dream by actively working to preserve endangered species. Today, he also guides other volunteers in respectful and ethical ecovolunteering experiences. By helping to protect wildlife and sharing his knowledge with enthusiasts around the world, Sébastien has found a new life mission that combines adventure, commitment and dedication to the animal cause.
Sébastien's nature leader training course is an inspiring example of how we can follow our passion and make our dreams come true, even if it means taking risks and radically changing our path. His journey reminds us of the importance of pursuing our true passions and working for a better future, not only for ourselves, but also for our planet.
