Erasmus+ internships are open to anyone who is studying, apprenticing, doing work-study, training, teaching, training, looking for a job or wanting to become a volunteer.
There is just one requirement: the purpose of the stay must be to learn, train or share experience and knowledge.
Please note: to benefit from the Erasmus+ internship program, you need to apply to an organization that runs a project financed by the program. For example, a student should apply to his or her school (e.g. university) for a grant.
Which students are eligible for Erasmus+ internships? All students enrolled in an initial or sandwich course at a higher education institution.
Universities are not the only ones involved: all public and private higher education establishments offer Erasmus+ internships, including business schools, engineering schools, agronomy institutes, art schools, music conservatories, BTS high schools, nursing training institutes and apprentice training centers.
To apply, contact your school's international relations department, or the Enseignant Référent pour l'Action Européenne et Internationale (ERAEI) at BTS high schools. They'll be able to tell you which partner establishments you can study at, or what you need to do to take part in an internship.
Worth knowing:
If you're registered with a local mission, a Pôle emploi or an association, you'll be able to benefit from a work placement in Europe through your supervisory structure. And since 2021, worldwide for the vocational education and training sector.
Any individual can benefit from Erasmus+ training periods, whatever their status or level of qualification.
