During my internship on the elephant project in Thailand, I took part in missions to observe elephant behavior and raise awareness of their conservation among the local community.
I also contributed by studying the local fauna, including reptiles, mammals, insects and birds. My role was to collect data on the biodiversity of the area and identify the different species present.
These missions gave me hands-on, immersive experience in the field of elephant and habitat conservation.
This internship has enabled me to develop my personal knowledge. By interacting with local communities, I have also acquired a number of professional exchange skills.
I was able to gain a practical understanding of the challenges of conservation and cohabitation between man and wildlife, while actively contributing to concrete initiatives in the field.
This internship has been a transformative experience, giving me a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities of nature conservation and community engagement.
