There are two options for your engineering internship with Realstep: technical internships or field research internships. 

If you're looking for hands-on experience in IT, technical internships are for you. You will be involved in exciting projects, covering a wide range of specialisations such as :

Applications for these courses are made on a case-by-case basis, and will be tailored to your individual needs and skills. Here are the steps involved:

1. Send us your CV and covering letter in English 6 to 8 weeks before the start of the placement.
2. Interview with a member of the Realstep team.
3. Interview with the company or partner teams.
4. Proposal of an internship suited to your skills and objectives.
5. A new adventure begins!

These internships are aimed at students of all levels or alternating with specialised profiles from engineering schools such as ISEN, ICAM, INP, EPITA, etc.

What technical internships are available?

• Internship in Japan - Tokyo 

Areas of activity: web dev, IT infrastructure, cyber security, gaming

We offer internships with various start-ups in Tokyo. These placements can be done in English and are supervised by professionals in the sector. 

Tasks: website and app development, programming, etc.

Types of companies: start-ups

Experienced profiles with specialised skills may have the opportunity to obtain paid work at the end of their placement (minimum 1-year contract).

Supervision and logistics costs for 12 weeks: €3060

• Internship in India - Jaipur 

Areas of activity: Web development (front-end and back-end), Java development, Android application development, Game development (Unity 3D), Python programming, Software testing, SEO.

Tasks: research and development, systems design, user testing, documentation, maintenance, preparing quotations, feasibility studies, etc.

Sectors: renewable energy, telecommunications, network engineering, mechanical engineering and major construction projects.

Placement and logistics costs for 12 weeks: €2,950

• Internship in Argentina - Cordoba 

Field of activity: High Tech, communication, development

As an intern, you will join a foundation or company dedicated to improving the quality of life through technology. You will work as part of a dynamic team coordinating various initiatives.

Tasks: mobilising resources, organising training for the most vulnerable, researching global development issues or managing the social networks of various NGOs.

You may have assignments focusing on the analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of digital platforms in public and private sector organisations.

Placement and logistics costs for 12 weeks: €3,400

• Internship in Portugal - Lisbon

Field of activity: Web design and development, web applications

Being connected is increasingly crucial, even in the social sector. The organisations we work with are aware of this and offer internship opportunities for web developers in Portugal. 

Tasks: website optimisation, accessibility for disabled people and database management.

Requirements for engineering placements with Realstep :

• A good level of English.
• For a duration of 90 days you will not need a visa. For more than 90 days, please contact the relevant embassies.
• These courses include accommodation and food (except for the project in Japan).
• Prices are quoted for 12 weeks, but internships are available from 4 weeks up to 6 months.

Field research internships at Realstep!

At Realstep, we offer field research placements focusing on the environment, humanitarian aid and animal protection. These internships aim to contribute to the preservation of local biodiversity through international cooperation projects with partner NGOs.

Activities include collecting data, installing camera traps, studying species, observing animals, restoring habitats and raising community awareness of the importance of protecting the environment. Here are some examples of research placements:
